These tremendously talented teen musicians (13-18) represent the FUTURE OF ROCK MUSIC. They are the best and brightest students from 10 of the Paul Green School of Rock Music’s 60 locations nationwide and they are embarking on a 10-city concert tour. The SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS MIDWEST TOUR kicked off today (July 11) in Houston Texas and will perform tomorrow night in Dallas and then it’s up I-35 to Kansas and Des Moines on 7/16 at the House of Bricks before hitting the turnaround town of St. Paul Minnesota. Then it’s back down to Texas, rockin’ Iowa and Oklahoma before ending the tour in Austin on Sunday, July 20. “The All Stars are the best musicians among the almost 1,000 students nationally studying in the Paul Green School of Rock Music system,” explained founder Paul Green. “We currently have three All Star teams who travel to perform. The East Coast team was our first band, then we added the West Coast and now the Midwest.” “Students on this tour study in our Austin, St. Paul MN, Kansas City, Chicago and Washington D.C. schools,” said Tour Director Rick Carney. “This all-ages concert is a terrific chance for parents and kids to enjoy a night of rock together…and both generations will enjoy themselves.” THE SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS have played over 400 shows coast to coast to more than 250,000 people at venues such as B.B. King's in New York City and The Knitting Factory in Hollywood. They’ve been joined on stage by such legends as Alice Cooper, Jon Anderson, and Eddie Vedder as well as "Guest Professors" such as Peter Frampton, Adrian Belew and John Wetton (Asia). These students who represent the FUTURE OF ROCK MUSIC continue to astound capacity crowds of all ages wherever they play, serving up the greatest classic rock hits from Zeppelin to Zappa with an undeniable proficiency well beyond their years. SF Weekly called their performance "jaw-dropping” while Blah3.com advised, “ Go see them if you can, you won't be disappointed. They deliver.” Information on Paul Green School of Rock can be found at http://www.schoolofrock.com.
