Update,... Duke has been in rescue for a couple months, and has been a very easy foster, he is great with people, other dogs and cats. Duke absolutely loves water!! I think he must be part otter! He loves to play fetch, ride in the car and just hang out with me. He loves walks, I take all the dogs to a park where they can run off leash, Duke is always the first one to check back in with me. He is a beautiful blanket back black and cream . Duke is a good sized boy weighing in at about 90#. Duke was an owner surrender, his person got him as a pup and was forced to surrender him to us because she bought a new home and the insurance company would not cover German Shepherd Dogs, she found this out shortly before closing, and was devastated to have to give him up, but she didn't have a choice! Duke has been well cared for and is very social with everyone,...... people, other dogs, cats and horses. He walks well on a leash, and has excellent recall. Duke is very well behaved in the house, he's crate trained, house trained, neutered, UTD on shots, and is on heart worm preventive. He was living with a 1 year little girl, Duke was fine with her, but as a precaution dogs and small children must always be supervised. All our dogs are adopted as indoor family companions only.
