Description
Beanie is a 1 year old red male dachshund with white spot on chest. He came from a very bad breeder in Iowa, was infested with fleas, had a very nasty cough and was extremely skinny. After 3 bouts of medication, he is feeling great and has filled out beautifully! Beanie is thehappiest, friendliest little guy you will ever meet even after such a rough start. He is very social and loves to play with his foster brother, Joey. Beanie knows when he needs to go in his crate and waits for his treat -- if you arent right there with it he will come looking for you! He loves to be held and cuddled but is also very happy playing with toys by himself. You cant help but pick him up when he comes up to you on his back legs, saying. Look at what I can do! And he will do this until you pick him up. Beanie will be great with another playful dog or as an only dog. He loves car rides and walks on a leash without tugging, like a good boy. Beanie has a slight vision problem. He cant see up close but can see shadows at a distance. Other than running into things up close in new surroundings, you would never know.
